Andile Mngxitama says Black First Land First (BLF) shall hold ANC KZN Secretary General Bheki Mtolo and President Cyril Ramaphosa accountable should anything bad happen to former president Jacob Zuma.
The BLF president was responding to the “threats” made by Mtolo when he recently addressed the ANC Cadres Forum at the Makhoba Hall in Nquthu, north of KwaZulu-Natal.
Mtolo reportedly said Zuma, 81, must forget about taking part in this year’s upcoming general elections, adding: “He will be in hospital due to his old age.”

“We are not scared of [Zuma] because his age is on our side. He is old and I guarantee you that he won’t see the upcoming general elections. He will be in hospital,” Mtolo told the forum.
Mngxitama considers these utterances made by Mtolo to be very serious. He recalled how the forces of imperialism had managed to weaponize health in the case of the late former Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez.
“How does Mtolo know in advance the state of health of President Zuma unless he knows of a plan to weaponize health to harm President Zuma?” Mngxitama asked rhetorically.
The BLF president challenged Mtolo to not only apologise for the statement he made but also “reveal the ANC of Ramaphosa’s plot against President Zuma.”
“We say ANC of Stellenbosch hands off President Zuma,” Mngxitama maintained.
